Today is part of Mental Illness Awareness Week in the US and this is a special bonus episode.
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medicinal system that considers mind and body in its holistic healing approach. It is closely linked with Yoga and often forms part of a Yogi’s daily practice.
Considering whole body healing in mental health is essential, and Ayurveda offers many different ways to begin the healing journey.
Some approaches include massage and self-massage, a special diet, nutrition, herbal remedies, yoga, and meditation.
