But, with nearly one suicide every 40 seconds globally, it’s an extremely important topic to address. For every suicide, there are also many more attempted suicides and helping and supporting people before they end their life is what today’s episode is about.
What do you say to someone contemplating suicide? What should you do and not do if a loved one is thinking about committing suicide? And how can you show love and support to someone who is experiencing distress? We talk to La Toya Bond about suicide prevention.
