Many of us don’t learn about the connection between our gut and overall wellbeing until symptoms start to interfere with daily life. In this episode, we explore how digestive health, mental health, and even environmental exposures can overlap in unexpected ways. What begins as a conversation about mood and microbiome quickly opens up into a deeper look at how chemicals in food and common triggers like wheat may impact the body’s ability to regulate and repair.

We talk about what it means to take a more investigative approach to health like asking different questions, paying closer attention to symptoms, and staying curious about the root causes behind chronic issues. This conversation invites us to think more broadly about wellness, and how even small changes in how we eat, live, and support our bodies can create meaningful shifts over time.
