  • Episode 379 – The Tree of Life Movement with Marla and Scott Berger
April 21, 2026
Marla and Scott Berger

Ubuntu reminds us that we exist in relationship, that “I am” is inseparable from “we are.” In this episode, we explore how intention, unity, and collective responsibility shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

At the heart of this perspective is the belief that children carry the seeds of our future and that living with intention is both a personal and shared commitment. Through the symbolism of the Tree of Life and the practice of conscious intention, we reflect on what it means to heal ourselves and contribute to healing the world.

Marla Scott Berger

Marla and Scott Berger share and acknowledge the existential philosophy of Ubuntu, I AM because WE ARE, for a world of clarity, confidence, and oneness. Inspired by the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity, they created the Tree of Life Movement and the Intention Stick in 2012, and the Tree of Life Movement Foundation in 2020, with the philosophy that children are the seeds of our future and it is our obligation and responsibility to encourage and help children grow to live a life of intention.

Their mission and purpose is to unify humanity with positive intention through the Silicon Intention Stick, a constant and physical reminder of the beautiful connection we share and the power of our collective intentions. They are global speakers and authors of I Am Here, Why? Introspective Stories of Intention, supporting this global movement by bringing awareness to those forgotten and alone around the world.
