What do we reach for when the life we built stops working, when creativity vanishes and the world shrinks down to something unbearable? The path back from that edge can look nothing like we expect, and sometimes it starts with a commitment we make to ourselves about where we will show up and what we refuse to bring there.

We forget that our bodies hold intelligence our minds have lost access to, that presence is not a gift but a muscle we have to rebuild after spending too long trapped in our own thoughts. The way back to ourselves often requires us to slow down enough to notice what has been right in front of us the entire time, and sometimes that simple act of paying attention becomes the thing that saves us.
